Adopt-A-Flowerbed
The Adopt-a-Flowerbed program is designed to
beautify Indianola's main thoroughfares by creating quality,
attractive flowerbeds. Individuals and groups can be a part of
this beautification effort by adopting a bed from mid-May through
October.
The Parks and Recreation Department
prepares the beds and supplies bedding plants, materials, and water,
and will also provide care instructions.
Volunteers may help design the bed, and
will plant and care for the flowerbed for the entire growing season,
including fall cleanup after the first hard frost.
Recognition is given to volunteers with a sign placed near each
flowerbed.
